WEEKLY WELLNESS WINS
This productivity hack is something I wish someone had shown me sooner.
Do you go to reply to a message on your phone and end up down the rabbit hole of doom scrolling?
Yep, me too!
Before you know it, 20 minutes have gone by and you forget what you actually went on your phone to do.
You can’t get that time back and you just lost it to aimlessly scrolling - doh!
Well, I found a hack that is going to put an end to this and make you the most productive you have ever been! Yep, EVER!
You can now limit your app usage time AND limit when notifications come through with just 3 simple steps 👇🏼
Limit App Usage:
Head to “screen time” in your phones settings section.
Click “App Limits” and “Add Limit.”
You decide which Apps you would like to limit (for me, socials is the big one) and give yourself a time limit per day for those apps.
Limit Notifications:
Head back into “screen time” in that settings section.
This time click “Downtime.”
You have the power to decide when you allow apps to pester you with notifications.
Now watch your productivity sky rocket! 🚀

HEALTH HACK THIS WEEK
How often do you find yourself saying you are an “all or nothing” person?
This kind of mindset is what is destroying your progress.
And I know that isn’t what you really are. It is usually a mindset we get sucked into when things feel overwhelming, stressful or difficult.
You are allowing yourself to do nothing because you did everything last week. It is an excuse we tell ourselves to be ok with doing nothing.
Not anymore.
Because I challenge you to this all or nothing mindset. Do you really do nothing? Or is there something that you are doing?
Sometimes we set the bar too high.
I want you to start having a best case scenario week. Where everything goes to plan. The “perfect” week.
And I want you to have a worst case scenario week. Where the kids are sick and you are spinning too many plates. What is the minimum you can do that week?
This sets you up to never fail. You are never doing nothing, but always doing something. It may not be ALL, but it’s SOMETHING.
Take a look at this 3 minute video to help you shift your view on the “all or nothing” mentality 👇🏼

LEADING FROM THE FRONT
(What this week taught me)
I changed my mindset this week. I have used the above strategies to really help me with my goals.
Initially I had said weight loss and toning up was really important for my wedding in August. Every Bride wants to feel their best on their wedding day.
The problem is, I’m not really unhappy with where I am. Which meant I wasn’t really sticking to my targets because it wasn’t too important to me whether I hit that target or not.
So I flipped the switch, changed my mindset. Instead of working towards a weight loss goal, I decided I wanted to work towards a discipline goal.
Knowing that I can do hard stuff even at times I don’t feel like it.
Building my resilience.
Growing in strength mentally & physically.
If a byproduct of that is weight loss or leaning out, bonus.
If not, I’m ok with that.
This journey is to challenge my resilience, discipline & will power.
And I’m ready for it 💪🏼
Sometimes just by changing the narrative allows you to achieve more, believe more & enjoy more.
I challenge you to give this a try.
And if you aren’t sure how, reply to this email and let’s talk through it.

BREAKTHROUGH MOMENT
(Client win)
A family trip to Disney and no weight gain!
A fear that Talia had always had through out her life was social events and holidays ruining her hard work, meaning weight gain.
Not this time.

Talia has achieved an incredible 16kg weight loss whilst working with me. Which is even more incredible considering our first phone call back in September, she told me I wouldn’t be able to help her because she has tried everything and the scales just won’t shift.
Yes, we have worked a lot on nutritional habits and choices. Training, exercise and daily activities BUT we have also taken a deep dive into her mindset, weekly set up and down time.
Going to Disney was going to be a huge challenge for Talia. Previously she wouldn’t have eaten before social events, dropped calories very low before holiday and didn’t have an understanding of how to manage her holidays without missing out.
I told Talia that she wasn’t to log and track her food this week. She was to go and have fun, spend quality time with the family and work with her bodies natural hunger cues.
Talia made good choices for breakfast and lunch each day. For dinner she would chose whatever she wanted and have a dessert.
Her steps remained high for the week, which was easy considering where she was.
Talia didn’t press the f**k it button for the week she was away which meant she has come home in the exact same spot as she left.
Here is what you can do to prepare for a holiday:
Eat your meals at the same time daily - this will allow your body to get into a natural pattern of when you should be eating and decrease boredom/emotional eating.
Work on pushing those steps up - 10,000+ steps a day to keep activity levels high.
Work towards a one plate rule and adding a protein source with each meal.
See you next Sunday ✌🏻
