WEEKLY WELLNESS WINS
The sun has been shining!! Finally! Hands up if you feel just a little bit better because of it? 🙋🏻‍♀️
It means, more time for more steps! Longer days and warmer evenings are on their way. This is where you can take full advantage and get outdoors more, get stepping more and enjoy some downtime.
I love a walk - rain or shine to be fair. It is my window of opportunity to take a break from the screen, enjoy nature and feel good. I also really enjoy this time to listen to a podcast.
The podcast of choice will definitely be based on my mood - you could figure me out just by looking at my Spotify playlists.
I have a great podcast for you mummies this week.
It has had me in fits of laughter and giggling through my country walks. Oh and not to mention it makes me feel like I’m not such a bad mum after all.
I highly recommend - it is called “Parenting Hell” with Rob Beckett and Josh Widdicombe.

HEALTH HACK THIS WEEK
Ever heard of habit stacking?
Well it’s about to change your life!
This is where you can build new habits whilst taking advantage of old ones.
So often I hear people trying something new for a week or two but then they say they lose motivation and the habit never stuck.
This is most likely down to the fact they are trying to change too many things at once or trying to start something new without any kind of routine to it.
So, I want to teach you how you can build new and better habits that are going to last.
You will already have very strong habits and connections that you most likely take for granted everyday. For example showering every morning, brushing your teeth, make a coffee when you get up and making the bed. You can now take full advantage of these strong ingrained habits to build new ones.
How?
One of the best ways to build a new habit is to identify a current habit you already do each day and then stack your new behaviour on top. This is habit stacking.
Here are some examples:
When making my coffee I will pour myself a glass of water to drink first.
After brushing my teeth at night I will lay my workout clothes out ready for the morning.
Whilst cooking dinner I will prepare my lunch for tomorrow.
The reason habit stacking works so well is that your current habits are already built into your brain. These patterns and behaviours have been strengthened over years. By linking a new habit to a cycle that is already built into your brain, you make it much more likely that you are going to stick to the new behaviour.
If you want to learn more about your daily behaviours and how the environment affects you, I highly recommend reading the book “Atomic Habits” by James Clear.
Happy Habit Stacking!

LEADING FROM THE FRONT
(What this week taught me)
A few weeks ago you may remember I shared a video about the “All or Something” mentality.
Well, boy, I have had to really lean into this mindset this week.
I have had a very overwhelming week. Workload has been very high this week but I have had a couple of personal struggles to face too.
My current training plan means 5 sessions a week.
I’ll be honest with you, I haven’t trained once this week.
My time has been eaten up and my energy levels have been very low. So instead of training I have increased my time outdoors and improving my step count. This is what I have needed this week for my mental health and for a chance to clear my mind.
Steps have increased from 10,000 steps a day to 15,000 steps a day.
So training may have dropped, but daily movement has certainly increased.
I really hope this helps you to realise that not every week is going to be perfect, but something is always going to be better than nothing.
We are now going into that week of half term - kids off school and you are spinning a lot of plates. Remember, if load or intensity has to reduce this week, you aren’t failing. However it is still important to prioritise some of that time for you.

BREAKTHROUGH MOMENT
(Client win)
I can’t pick one - so I pick ALL of my clients.
To be so privileged and trusted to help women thrive in all aspects of their lives is the best and most rewarding job I could ever dream of.
Not only this, but to then have a community of women who support each other, connect over similarities and struggles they have faced and to feel so safe and comfortable around each other is what actually helps them to grow and flourish.
The biggest breakthrough this week has been these women putting themselves out there, in front of a camera, which by the way every single one of them said they avoided when first joining Rhi-Form.
To stand in front of a male photographer, a male videographer, their coach (me) and 8 other ladies whilst posing or being in very little clothing and fully embracing who they are - WHAT AN ACHIEVEMENT.
Each individual walked into the studio timid, nervous, apprehensive and feeling a little sick.
They walked out of the studio confident, empowered, sexy, proud, emotional and supported.
In order to thrive you need a community of women who build each other up, eat doughnuts together and feel comfortable enough to pose in their pants together.
This is what we have created a Rhi-Form and we love welcoming in new ladies who want that kind of support.
So, if that’s you reply to this email with the word “COMMUNITY” and I’ll take it from there.

Peace and love ✌🏻❤️
